SEO can take a long time to get any kind of meaningful results.
While you can’t “force” Google to rank you faster, there are actually a number of quick things you can do to improve SEO for your website.
One of the easiest things you can do is improve page speed with lazy load. When you implement lazy loading, things like images or videos will only load when they’re visible on the page.
This will reduce initial page load time, initial page weight, and system resource usage, all of which should positively impact performance.
Find out what tools you’ll need to enable lazy loading in the video.
Next, improve clickthrough rate for pages ranking on page one.
It’s widely accepted in the SEO community that pages with a higher clickthrough rate can help increase rankings.
And since 75% of users never scroll past the first page of search results, it’s better to focus on improving CTR for your first page rankings.
Learn how to do this in the video.
Third, send emails to everyone you link to. This 10-minute outreach strategy is a great way to passively earn links and grow your network. You will learn how to do this in the video.
Fourth, add internal links to your new pages.
Internal linking helps to improve crawlability, gets your pages indexed faster, improves topical relevance, and distributes PageRank to other pages so you can rank higher in Google.
To learn how to find relevant pages to add internal links from, watch the video.
The next tip is to become a power skimmer of HARO using Gmail filters.
HARO stands for help a reporter out. It’s a free service where journalists can ask questions, and anyone can respond and be a source for mega publications like The New York Times and Forbes.
The thing with this service is that they usually send 3 emails per day which can be quite overwhelming, considering 90% of the queries probably won’t be relevant to you.
So, a quick hack to make sure opportunities don’t get missed is to lighten the load with Gmail filters.
How do you do this? Watch the video.
Sixth, perform an annual content audit. A content audit is where you analyze the performance of all content on your site to determine whether it should be kept as-is, updated, deleted, consolidated, or redirected.
You’ll find out how to perform a content audit in the video.
Lastly, repurpose your best-performing blog posts to videos, and your best videos to blog posts. You’ll learn how to do this in the video.

Hi we need some methods to increase DA
Please make a video about Google keyword planner I think it's no longer there.
YES, love this! Just stumbled on your YouTube channel, and I wish I found you sooner!
I'm jealous I didn't find it earlier in my career because these videos are packed with nuggets!
Nevertheless, I was wondering if you were open to partnership opportunities?
Like you, I've been doing everything I can to give back to people who are taking their businesses to new heights. I've been through the struggles and now run multiple (relatively) successful businesses.
So I launched a program to help people scale their businesses with automation resources, my personal network of highly-trained virtual assistants, and an online community where they receive direct coaching plus learn from the experiences of other entrepreneurs.
The results have been fantastic. I think it would really benefit your fans and followers.
Let me know the next best steps. Would love to make it happen!

I never understood the page load speed thing. It's not 1995 anymore. It's all fiber connections in most areas now.
Check your sitemap. I can't tell you how many website I review and open their sitemap.xml file and see 'thank-you' pages, old versions of pages, and in wordpress, post types that shouldn't be published as pages. Cleaning up your sitemap could take you just a few minutes and then go back to search console re-submit your sitemap so you have a clean ratio of pages submitted to pages indexed.
We've deleted a few pages on our site but they show as errors (404) on the Ahrefs site audit. How do we stop this happening in order to increase our site score? There doesn't seem to be a physical way to actually remove the URL's from our web builder despite setting the dormant URL's to redirect. (Squarespace)
As always, great content!
Hello Ahrefs. Thanks for your videos. I am aware that content on the web site should never be repetitive, as it may not help the user's experience to be looking at the same. Does that apply to content that I specifically want to add to a section limited to clients where they can only access through a password? These will be bulletins specific to them but which we also want to add to the general web site in a more general approach. Thanks again for your help.
Amazing tips. SEO is so critical for any business!
Hi. Due to the recent avast shutting down jumpspot, did ahrefs use jumpshot for it's data needs. And now with jumpshot no longer existing, do you use other data vendors to make up for loss in data?
where did you go to school?

Someone tell me how to only search organically from my questions on Google rather than all the paid advertising crap that I have to deal with that does not answer my questions especially in this serious state that we are in today with the #covid-19 #organicgooglesearch
Professional email address should be used for sending quick note emails.

Tips.
1. Lazy load.
2. Ctr.
3. Mailoutreach.
4. Internal links.
5. Haro.
6. Content audit.
7. Best blogs to video vice versa.
I'm super interested in the content pruning part but not sure what's the best way:
we're a news publication and we have subscribers that pay for new issues but also the entire library of backissues (as a selling feature). Is there a way to NOT delete old content but perhaps move it to a subdomain or noindex that content to see the gains from content pruning but still keep it for subscribers?
1. lazy load.
2. Ctr page 1.
3. Emails linked to.
4. Internal link.
5. Haro.
6. Content audit.
7. Blogs and videos repurposing.
awesome ~ very clear and full of useful content.
What about people with an online store?
A lot this seems to apply to "content" websites, but what about someone like me who runs a Vegan Skincare ecommerce shopify site? Sure I can blog on my site but I'm a businessman, so my focus isn't going to be as intense as someone who blogs for a living. so im not sure how to apply much of this beyond general SEO…….even backlinking becomes more of a challenge with fewer lateral niche opportunities.
UM THE FILTER
A tool that I personally use a lot for SEO is KWFinder. The tool allows you to see the number of searches, the CPC and the keyword difficulty which allows you to take advantage of underused keywords. It might not be good for everyone but it works for me :).
